To access the settings in Netscape 4.x and up you click on the Edit menu and then the Preferences option.

Now click on the plus (+) next to Mail & Groups to access your Mail settings. Choose Identity from the list of options.

• Enter your real name in the Your Name field.
• Enter your full email address (username@alaska.net) into the Email address field.

Then click on the Mail Server category.

• Put your username in to the Mail server user name.
• For the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) server enter mail.alaska.net
• For Incoming mail server enter pop.alaska.net
• The Mail Server Type should have a dot next to POP3.
• Click More Options - place check next to remember my mail password.
