Click on the Options menu then click on the Mail and News Preferences.

Now click on the Servers tab.

Make sure that the Outgoing, Incoming, and POP3 User Name are correct:

Outgoing Mail Server: mail.alaska.net Incoming Mail Server: pop.alaska.net POP3 User Name: Your username, this is the first part of your email address.

Now click on the Identity tab.

Make sure you have the correct email address in place. All other lines on this screen are optional. Your email address is username@alaska.net, where username is your assigned login name.

Click OK and you are now ready to recieve email.
